How many people will need to be accomodated?
Limousines come in all shapes and sizes.  The best way to start off a reservation is by knowing exactly how many kids will need the transportation service.  A rule of thumb in the limo industry is to always book a limo that can hold at least 2 more people than needed.  Your children will be dressed up and not wanting to be crowded or sitting on each other.  

What is the time frame of service?
There can be many different scenarios when it comes to the itinerary of prom night.  Don't forget to take in account the time it takes to load and unload passengers.  If having multiple pick ups, parents will want to get pictures and such and can eat up your service time very quickly.  Minimal pick up locations can speed this process time up.  Traffic and construction can also hinder your time, so make sure to allow more than adequate time for travel.  Some limousine companies have a minimum service time depending on the vehicle, so make sure to hit this point when placing your reservation.

Is an adult needed to chaperone?
Let's face it, it's prom, all those attending are going to be minors.  You might be asked to chaperone the kids while in the limo or sign a waiver.  This is completely up to the limousine company and their policies.  

What's the service going to cost?
Each limousine company has their own rates.  Keep your eyes open for deals and coupons.  Another rule of thumb is to get your quote in writing.  A lot of limo companies will price match if you have the quote on the companie's letterhead.

Notifications
If you are not chaperoning your kids, will the chauffeur notify a parent when the kids are dropped off at the prom?  This will most certainly be available at your request.  A simple phone call can give us, as parents, the peace of mind that the children have arrived at the destination safe and sound.

Taking a limo to a big game is a bit different than taking one out and about.  

     First, what kind of limo do you want to reserve?  A stretched, sedan, SUV or a party bus?  Are you planning on doing some tailgating?  Think of the items you want to take with you.  Canopy, grill, games and coolers.  Make sure your limo will accommodate these things.  Some limousine companies have packages that will include these items.  I have also ran into a few that the chauffeur will even do the grilling and cleanup.
